i've had a splitting headache all day and so many things i should have done. i need to finish painting this stupid room, but i ran out of paint and haven't gotten any more yet. i did buy fabric though so i can make my curtains maybe tomorrow.

i still haven't put my clothes away yet.. i've been here for a month now and they're still all coming out of boxes and lying on the floor.. it's quite the mess. I have far too many clothes. I could go weeks wearing only new combinations. I think that's part of the fun. i don't feel as bad though when i think that most items in my wardrobe cost $5 or less.. i really should sort ome out though that i haven't worn in a while. yet another thing to do.

i ran out of mild today and so grocery shopping is on the list of things to do.

mom's coming down on friday night so we might rent a movie or something. maybe she'll want to help me with my quilt. saturday is MacServe year two. Basically a day of volunteering organized by the faculty of social science. I had a good time last year, so I'm doing it again. I alost feel bad about it though because we go out for 3 hours or so and they give us breakfast and lunch.

I've started the application process for volunteering at Big Brothers but they require a police check and that usually takes a month or so to complete. so yeah, that's in the works.

like i said mom's coming down so hopefully on suday we'll be able to fill in the missing furniture. ie a kitchen table, something for in the bathroom, another book shelf/cd rack, and a computer chair because this thing is killing my back.
