silly body
7:21 pm - October 03, 2004

there's karma out there preventing me from posting in this thing. a couple of days ago I had an entry all typed out and something happened.. I can't remember what now, and I don't think the entry was all that interesting but it was a pain nonetheless. and this morning I had another, fairly lengthy, entry ready to go and I did a stupid thing and clicked on a bookmark and before I could stop it the page had changed and my entry was no more, so now I'm typing in notepad and hopefully a link won't open in it. anyway the result is probably a lesser version of what I had written this morning.

things are going well, I've been busy and this is a good thing, between work and work and school and fun, I haven't had much time to be bored, and actually today is the first day in a while that I've really had the whole day just there sitting and unstructured waiting for me. I did a little reading, and should probably do some more before I go out tonight, and some laundry, but other than that I watched the daily show from Thursday and all of the episodes of Scrubs from this season so far, and started making a new skirt, which I've put on hold for a little while since I don't know what direction it's going to take.

yesterday was one of those days where by the end of it you feel as though it were two or three days because you've done so many different things in different places over a fairly long period of time. it all started out with a 7:00 alarm and a bus ride to school, then a few hours of sanding and staining furniture at the transitional youth centre, then back to school for lunch and a group hug. (in the earlier entry there was a fairly long rant at this point about the over-analysis of a few hours of volunteer work, but I can't be bothered getting worked up over it at the moment which is probably better for everyone.)

After I got home I had a nice bath and got dressed and then Borrelli picked me up and we went over to Matt and Robin's for an awesome pasta dinner. Around 6 we headed over to the Underground and witnessed a brilliant show by Heston Rifle, the Bell Orchestre and the Arcade Fire. Danced for pretty much the entire AF set, and for the encore the french horn player from bell orchestra came and danced with Borrelli and me. Andrew and Laura came to which was awesome, so many cool people, great music and dance dance dancing! Then Matt and Mike and I went to Oakville and witnessed a genius prank call, watched some trailer park boys and basically hung out with a large group of people.

Tonight is Westend night, but my nose is stupid an runny and I'm supposed to play, so I hope it goes away soon. my fingers also hurt since my calluses suck
