I'm sitting in the office killing time until my tutorial. I just got back from a decent hike. It was nice but my body's going to hate me for it later. it would have been perfect if the batteries in the camera hadn't been dead and the sun was shining a little, but the leaves were amazing and the water falls were amazing and the bruce trail was pretty cool, and i'm seriousl contimpating taking a week of so in the spring and hiking it from beginning to end.

I got some fancy new shoes a couple of days ago and it was definately worth it. Climbing was so much easier and wet rocks posed no problem.

I saw a couple of chipmunks and some squirrels, but that was about it for living things. I saw a monarch when I got to the bus stop. I sat down on the grass to wait and hidden behind some longer brush was this lovely butterfly. I don't know if she was alive or dead, but it was pretty.

tonight is organization night. wish me luck.
